United Way of Grant County (UWGC) is currently accepting Letters of Interest (LOI) from non-profit, 501(c)(3) organizations that are interested in receiving funding in 2023. UWGC is looking for organizations that offer programming in alignment with the mission of United Way – focusing support for programs in the areas of health, education, and financial stability. Letters need to be received by July 31, 2022 for consideration.

Organizations that are interested in receiving funding do not need to have any previous affiliation with United Way but must be a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in Grant County.

The total amount of funding available is the result of pledges and donations received as part of United Way’s upcoming 2022-2023 fundraising campaign. Currently, UWGC funds over a dozen organizations in Grant County, including the Grant County Family YMCA, the Boys and Girls Club of Grant County, the Salvation Army, St. Martin’s Community Center, and several others. Organizations accepted into the funding process by the UWGC board of directors will work with UWGC’s Community Investment Committee to determine the amount of funding they might receive in the Spring of 2023.

“Individuals donate to United Way throughout the year, knowing that their dollars are going to support the essential needs of their neighbors and those throughout Grant County.” Marketing & Communications Coordinator Evan Gilmore said, “We want to support as many groups as possible that are fighting for a better quality of life for our community.”

In the 2021-2022 campaign, over $250,000 was raised and distributed through the UWGC’s community investment process, and an additional $1.9 million was secured in grant funding for specific programs throughout the community.

More information on the letters of interest and the funding process can be found at unitedwayofgrantcounty.org/funding-info. Organizations with questions can contact United Way at [email protected] or by calling 765-662-9811.
