United Way of Grant County (UWGC) is excited to announce the commencement of its 2023-2024 funding cycle, inviting 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations that share UWGC’s focus on health, education, and financial stability to submit Letters of Interest (LOI).
“We are eager to start this new funding cycle and collaborate with more organizations doing fantastic work in our community,” said LeeAnna Smith, Executive Director of UWGC.
Non-profit organizations located in Grant County are eligible to submit an LOI. Previous affiliation with United Way is not required, opening up opportunities for all local non-profits seeking support. The LOI is a vital first step towards obtaining funding and should include the following information:
- Name of Organization
- Contact Information
- Organization Mission
- Proposed Program
- Approximate Funding Amount to be Requested
- Connection of the Program to Organization Mission
- Connection of the Program to the Mission of UWGC
The deadline for submission of the LOI is July 31, 2023.
The total amount of funding available is determined by the pledges and donations received as part of UWGC’s annual fundraising campaign. Organizations approved for the funding process will work with UWGC’s Community Investment Committee to ascertain the potential funding they might receive starting in Spring 2024.
