United Way of Grant County is pleased to announce the opening of the Letter of Interest (LOI) window for its 2026 Community Investment funding cycle. Local 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations serving Grant County are invited to apply for grant funding to support programs that drive measurable change in the community.

This annual funding process is the cornerstone of United Way’s mission to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of communities. The grants are designed to support local programs that address the root causes of the county’s most pressing challenges, ensuring that every dollar raised stays local to make the biggest impact.

“Our Community Investment grants are about more than just funding; they are about partnership and progress,” said LeeAnna Smith, Executive Director of United Way of Grant County. “When we invest in these programs, we are investing in the future of our neighbors. It is a privilege to support the organizations that are working tirelessly to build a stronger, healthier Grant County.”

Funding is prioritized for programs that align with United Way’s strategic focus areas:

  • Youth Opportunity: Helping young people realize their full potential.
  • Healthy Community: Improving health and well-being for all.
  • Financial Security: Creating a stronger financial future for every generation.
  • Community Resiliency: Addressing urgent needs today for a better tomorrow.

Eligible organizations must submit a Letter of Interest (LOI) to begin the application process. The minimum funding request is $10,000.
