Building community in your classroom is the foundation to classroom management! Come learn about the 5 C’s of Classroom Community: Clarity, Choice, Cleanliness, Consistency, and Connection. Through reflection and conversation, teachers will come out of this understanding more about the importance of community and practical applications for their classrooms.

About the Presenter

Wendy Turcott brings a robust foundation in early childhood education, backed by a Bachelor of Science in the field. She is a Certified State of Indiana Trainer, a Certified Coach through Lark’s Song Inc., and holds a certification as a Zero to Three Growing Brain Trainer. Wendy’s journey in the educational sector began at Westminster Preschools in 2019, where she initially embraced the role of Lead Pre-K Teacher. Her journey through the ranks saw her transition into a Site Director role, before stepping into the position of Development Director in 2022. Wendy’s career trajectory showcases her versatility and commitment to fostering educational environments where young learners can thrive.
