United Way of Grant County is thrilled to announce its new role as an Official Certifying Organization for the President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA), a national honor that celebrates the spirit of volunteerism. This prestigious award recognizes the dedication of Grant County’s volunteers, who make a significant impact within our community.

In addition to a certificate and physical award, the recognition comes with a letter from the President of the United States, thanking the individual for their service to their community. United Way will be presenting the awards at one or more public events throughout the year (dates and locations to be announced).

“The PVSA is not just an award; it’s a testament to the strength and compassion of our community here in Grant County,” says Evan Gilmore, Marketing & Communications Coordinator at United Way of Grant County. “This is our chance to say ‘thank you’ and shine a light on those who inspire us to give back, do more, and Live United.”

United Way of Grant County invites local non-profit organizations to nominate volunteers who have demonstrated exceptional service and dedication. More information is available at uwgrant.com. Letters of nomination, along with a record of the hours volunteered in a 12-month period, can be submitted via email to [email protected] or mailed to United Way of Grant County, 215 S Adams St., Marion, IN 46952.
